As our nation's official tree, the oak symbolizes strength, stability and longevity. Under the canopy of an oak tree, Elizabeth Price Martin created the concept of The Garden Club of America.
Over one hundred years later, the oak continues to embody the GCA's purpose and to symbolize the lasting legacy its work makes possible.
Founded in 1913, The Garden Club of America is recognized nationally as a leader in horticulture, conservation, creative arts, historic preservation, and environmental protection.
As you consider your personal legacy, we invite you to join The Great Oak Society.
The Society celebrates and honors those who remember The Garden Club of America in their estate plans or other planned giving.
Please inform us that you have made arrangements to support the GCA through a bequest or planned gift by contacting Alison Dolack at GCA Headquarters at (212) 753-8291 or contribute@gcamerica.org. It is not necessary to provide the GCA with formal documentation of your plans. Inquiries are confidential and do not obligate you in any way.
