The Great Oak Society
of The Garden Club of America

As our nation's official tree, the oak symbolizes strength, stability and longevity. Under the canopy of an oak tree, Elizabeth Price Martin created the concept of The Garden Club of America.

Over one hundred years later, the oak continues to embody the GCA's purpose and to symbolize the lasting legacy its work makes possible.
